What a Closed-Up Home Collects
- Salt film on glass facing the Gulf, bays and canals
- Pollen in screens and on sills
- Lovebugs on exterior glass and screens
- Sprinkler spots on lower windows
- Sand and grit packed into slider tracks
How It Works When You're Not Here
- Tell us your dates. Let us know when you're arriving or leaving and which windows, screens and sliders you'd like done.
- Sort out access. Exterior work only needs a way into the yard or lanai. For interior glass, we can work with your home-watch company or property manager on access, or use a gate code or lockbox you set up.
- We clean. Glass inside and out, screens, sills, tracks and sliders, done by hand.
- You hear from us. We'll call or text once the job is done.
If you already know your arrival date, reach out early. Fall is when most seasonal owners head back, and an early request gives you the most choice of cleaning dates.
Arriving or Leaving: Which Visit Makes Sense?
A pre-arrival cleaning gives you the best first impression: the glass hasn't had time to collect new dust, and you start the season with clear windows. A close-out cleaning after you leave gets the salt and grime off before it bakes on through the summer, which can make the next cleaning easier. Some owners do both. There's no wrong answer; it depends on how long the house sits and how close it is to the water. Our snowbird home prep guide walks through a full arrival and close-out checklist, and you'll find the same reminder in the Back for the Season? note on our homepage.
